How to set it up
Once you have your sync key, paste it into the plugin and click Connect to sync!
- 1 Install the plugin
In RuneLite, open the Plugin Hub (wrench icon → bottom of the list), search for “Gemstone Crab KC” and click Install.
- 2 Get your sync key
Log in here and click Get my sync key below. Copy the key.
- 3 Paste it into the plugin
Log in to the character, click the crab icon on RuneLite's right-hand sidebar, paste the key into the box and click CONNECT.
- 4 Kill the crab
Log in to the game. Your account links within seconds and your KC updates after every kill.
Good to know
- Kills are counted exactly like the Gemstone Crab plugin counts them: when the crab burrows, it's a kill if you fought it for more than 5 minutes. If you use that plugin, the leaderboard shows exactly its kill count, so the numbers always match.
- Only your own RuneScape name, account type, kill count and top-3 finishes are sent. Like any website, our server sees your IP address. See the privacy policy.
- Once a character is synced, the leaderboard follows the plugin's kill count for it, even if that replaces an older screenshot number.
- Kill counts that rise faster than is possible in-game are held back and reviewed. You can sync as many characters as you like under one website account; each one needs its own key.
